Family Home of Engineers

The scope of our project included a living room with a dining area and kitchen, a hallway, and two bathrooms.
The house belongs to a couple of engineers (constructors), whose passion for building materials is reflected in two walls of the living room, built with ceramic bricks.
Additionally, large glass doors leading to the terrace and garden are supported by an iron beam.
These elements formed the starting point for creating the interior design.

The concrete floor naturaly complements the palette of construction materials, which play a key role in this interior.
The concrete floor was also chosen due to the underfloor heating installation, as it conducts heat much better than wood.

Our goal was to achieve a coherent concept that showcases the clients’ passion for their industry and the materials they use in their projects, while simultaneousy creating a sense of coziness for the whole family.
We wanted to demonstrate that raw materials, when combined skillfuly, can create a warm and homely interior.
